Units with double bed. The location was marvellous, not very far from Russell. The jewel in the crown was incredible staff.

Lovely building, fab location just off all the restaurants in Russell as well as local-everything. Well-stocked and good-sized rooms combined with clean facilities.

I loved staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in front of the beach. It was so convenient being close to everything, yet it was quiet and peaceful. The service was excellent, the staff was very kind and helpful. The room had everything I needed, including a spacious sitting area and a dining table. I also had access to a patio with garden furniture, which was a nice touch. The hotel amenities were great, with free toiletries and a flat-screen TV. I also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, as well as the beach access. this place provided a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

spotless and brand-new room, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. clean, spacious bathroom. location close enough to beautiful long beach, russell for that kind of money and the centre of russell.

The rooms in the hotel were immaculate and bright. The bedrooms were large. The pool area was heated and the location was unbeatable and stunning, close to the pier on Russell beach, local-everything within walking distance and the seafront.

Could not be improved in any way.

I stayed here for a weekend and would go back in flash. The property was clean with lovely and awesome staff. This nice hotel had a central setting right on the waterfront. There was Sally's Restaurant near the venue

Staying in this hotel was amazing! The location is the best, right in the centre of everything with a beautiful waterfront view. I loved how clean the hotel was and how well-equipped its facilities are - like the pool, the kayaks, and the bikes that were available for free. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The parking was also very convenient, and I was able to easily store my car on this property.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the spacious and well-equipped apartment rooms. The little coffee corner with quality coffee packs was a nice touch. The staff, especially Sue and Hamis, were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also appreciated the early check-in and the offer to lend us fishing rods. The hotel's location on the seafront added to its charm, even in rainy weather. The presence of 3-4 proper restaurants next door with excellent food was a big plus. the owners were very nice folks, helpful and cheery.

We felt very comfortable during our stay and had no complaints at all.

The location directly opposite the beach and next door to a pub is perfect for those wanting a seaside getaway. Additionally, being close to licensed restaurants and right on the waterfront provides a wide range of dining options. The rooms with kitchenettes offer convenience, and the stunning views across the harbor make for a memorable stay.

My recent city break was amazing! the room was a great size with a king bed, a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, washer, and dryer. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby restaurants, beaches, and supplies. I also appreciated the complimentary umbrellas stacked in the lobby for guest use. Plus, having access to a pool and spa were great perks!

There were a few minor issues. the sliding door to the bedroom was difficult to close properly, and there was a slight odor when flushing the loo.

The value for money at Commodores Lodge was great, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect, right by the waterfront with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff, Sue and Hamid, were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.

I recently had a fantastic family getaway at this hotel in Russell. The owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even allowed us to check in early due to the bad weather, which was a huge relief. The accommodation itself was well-equipped and had some lovely added touches, like plunger coffee and great toiletries in the bathroom. Our spacious room had a stunning view across the harbor, and we loved the convenience of having a kitchenette. The hotel's location was perfect, right on the beach and in the heart of town. It was also conveniently close to the ferry for Paihia, making it easy for us to explore the area.

No negatives- everything was just perfect.

Great Location and Activities

The hotel has a spectacular waterfront location, which is close to everything in town. It offers several activities such as kayaking, cycling, and tennis, which were enjoyable and kept us entertained. The accommodation was well-equipped with a lot of extra touches, which was an added advantage.

The hotel seemed to have some maintenance and cleanliness issues that need improvement. The pool and hot tub appeared dirty, and the rooms were a bit rundown.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better, right on the waterfront, close to everything, and next door to the pub. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The owner was friendly and even upgraded our room for free. The bikes and kayaks were a nice touch and included in the price.

Absolutely loved the location of this accommodation in Russell! It was so convenient being close to restaurants, beaches, and supplies. The hosts were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. The units had everything we needed, including a kitchenette for cooking our own meals. The pool and spa were a great bonus, and we even had our own deck that opened out onto the pool area. it felt like a home away from home.

Although the accommodation was comfortable and had a good shower pressure, it could benefit from some updating. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, and the bathroom could use more shelf space.
